Haryana State Vigilance Bureau enquiries in the month of October

On the orders of the Haryana State Vigilance Bureau seven enquiries were registered during the month of October, 2020 and nine enquiries were finalised whose final reports have been sent to the Department.

Out of nine enquiries finalised by the Bureau this month, allegations have been proved in four of them. The Bureau has recommended departmental action in one enquiry against one GO. In the second enquiry, recommendation has been made for recovery of Rs. 27,449/- from five NGO’s. In the third enquiry, recommendation has been made for registration of criminal case and departmental action against one NGO. In the fourth enquiry, a criminal case against one private person and departmental action against one NGO has been recommended.

In addition to this, during the month, four special checkings or technical reports have been sent to the Government in which one work has been found satisfactory. In remaining three works, the Bureau has recommended departmental action against 11 GOs, 4 NGOs and recovery of Rs.17, 45, 725 from concerned contractors.

During the month of October 2020, EHC Maan Singh, No. 408/PWL, Police Post Alawalpur, District Palwal has been caught red-handed on October 7, 2020, while accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000 and a case under the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 has been registered against him.
