Two private buses impounded in Ballabhgarh for illegally ferrying passengers

Chandigarh, January 4: Haryana Transport Minister, Mool Chand Sharma today got two private buses impounded in front of the bus station in Ballabhgarh for illegally ferrying passengers sending out the message that such activities will not be tolerated in the State. At the same time, he said that the State Government is making all possible efforts to reduce the deficit of Haryana Roadways.

Earlier, during a review meeting with officers of Municipal Corporation, Power Department, PWD and Forest Department, the Transport Minister directed them to expedite the pace of development works in Ballabhgarh and to blacklist the contractors who are not working and issue fresh tenders.  During the meeting, various measures to speed up the work under the Chief Minister’s announcements were also discussed.

Mool Chand Sharma directed the officers of the Corporation to complete the development works at the earliest including the construction of the auditorium, mini secretariat, and night shelters. He said that the road from Sector-3 Gurugram Canal to Tigaon Road, constructed at a cost of about Rs 2 crore, will be very convenient for people traveling from Ballabgarh towards Sector-10, Faridabad. He directed that the Power Department, Forest Department, and Municipal Corporation to complete their respective works on this road at the earliest.

Other officers of Municipal Corporation, Electricity, Forest Department, and General Manager of Roadways were also present during the meeting.
