Chandigarh, February 1– Haryana Transport Minister, Mool Chand Sharma, during the District Grievances Redressal Committee, today directed to file an FIR against an accused employee while disposing 12 of the 14 complaints included in the agenda at Sonipat.

He directed the concerned officers that the grievances of the public should be dealt with on a priority basis. He said that strict action will be taken against officers and employees who have been negligent in the redressal of complaints.

Salochana, a resident of village Matindu, in her complaint, accused the employee of Municipality Kharkhoda of taking bribe, saying that she has been denied the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Taking action on this, the Minister directed to register a case against the accused employee and to ensure that the complainant receives the benefit of the scheme.

The Transport Minister directed the Joint Commissioner of Municipal Corporation to remove the illegal encroachments with immediate effect on the complaint regarding illegal possession. Regarding another complaint, he directed to resolve the problem of sewage drainage. On the complaint of corruption in development works against the sarpanch of Kami village, the Transport Minister directed the Deputy Commissioner to investigate the matter.

On this occasion, MLA Rai, Mohan Lal Badoli, MLA Ganaur, Nirmal Chaudhary, Deputy Commissioner, Shyam Lal Poonia, and Superintendent of Police, Jashnadeep Singh Randhawa and various senior officers of the district administration were present.
