T.V.S.N Prasad called upon bankers to dispose off pending applications received under various schemes of the Central and State Government
Chandigarh, February 12 – Additional Chief Secretary, Haryana Finance Department, T.V.S.N Prasad today called upon the bankers to dispose off all pending applications received under various schemes of the Central and State Government on a priority basis.
T.V.S. N. Prasad was addressing as Chief Guest at the 155th meeting of the State Level Bankers Committee, Haryana held here today. Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India and Chairman, SLBC, Haryana Mr. Jyoti Kumar Pandey presided over the meeting. In the meeting, the performance of the banks under various Government sponsored schemes was reviewed.
T.V.S.N. Prasad appreciated the efforts of banks for garnering more than 4.07 lakh applications of Pashu KCC. He further appreciated the banks for achievement of one lakh disbursement of Pashu Kisan Credit Cards by the end of December 2020. He also called upon bankers to put more efforts for Shishu Mudra and DRI particularly through Atmanirbhar Portal launched by the State Government. He also advised bankers to dispose off pending cases under street-vendor scheme. He also advised bankers to popularize Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) revival scheme for revival of industry in state.
In the meeting it was informed that under Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY) the banks have enrolled 36,50,744 persons, under Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY) enrolled 11,34,467 persons and in Atal Pension Yojana (APY) enrolled 4,99,036 persons upto December 31, 2020.
In the meeting it was informed that under MUDRA loans during the third quarter of F.Y. 2020-21 as on December 31, 2020 the banks in Haryana have given loan of Rs 2,510 crores to 2,54,911 persons. Besides this, under PM SVANIDHI, banks in Haryana have given loan amounting to Rs.12.05 crore to 12,045 beneficiaries.
The meeting was attended by Additional Chief Secretary, Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Department, Devender Singh, Chief General Manager, Punjab National Bank, Rajiv Puri, Zonal Manager, Punjab National Bank Haryana Zone and Convenor, State Level Bankers Committee, Haryana, Sandip Kumar Panigrahi and other senior officers of State Government.
