Kherki Daula toll plaza to be shifted in the next six months
Chandigarh, February 13: Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal today announced that the Kherki Daula toll plaza which is causing trouble for the entrepreneurs of Manesar in Gurugram district will be shifted in the next six months. For this land has been identified.
The Chief Minister made this announcement during a programme organized at HSIIDC Auditorium at IMT Manesar in Gurugram District.
In this programme, the prominent people of the Manesar region and the Gram Panchayats thanked the Chief Minister for forming the Manesar Municipal Corporation.
Speaking at the programme, the Chief Minister said that the Manesar Municipal Corporation has been formed by incorporating 29 villages of the Manesar region. Now Wards will be formed in this Municipal Corporation and then elections will be held. This is the first Municipal Corporation formed during the tenure of the present Government and till the elections are held, the Municipal Corporation Commissioner will look after administrative work.
An Advisory Board of 21 members will be formed to support the Commissioner in the development of this area. Prominent persons of the area including both MLAs of Pataudi and Badshahpur assembly constituency, chairman of Gurugram block committee, two three members of industrial association, Sarpanches etc will be included in this Advisory Board. The Advisory Board will cooperate with the Commissioner regarding all new demands or projects that will come up for the development of Manesar region.
The Chief Minister said that after the formation of Municipal Corporation, Manesar, proper arrangements will be made in this area for sewerage, drainage, street lights, roads, parks, improvement of traffic system, horticulture related works, drinking water arrangements etc. He said that the ID of each property will be made and the value of that property will be linked with this ID.
Commissioner, Gurugram Municipal Corporation, Mr. Vinay Pratap Singh said that survey work for Property ID has been started. The counters will be installed in tehsils from Monday.
Referring to the demands made by MLA, Mr. Satya Prakash Jarawta, the Chief Minister said that drinking water supply scheme worth Rs. 61 crore has been approved for 24 villages and nine dhanis of Manesar region. Besides this, in the next one year, water will be provided as per requirement in 73 villages and 17 dhanis. In addition to issue of drinking water, the Chief Minister also emphasized on the use of sewerage treated water in horticulture and industrial works so that pure drinking water is used only for drinking. The Chief Minister assured the people that there will be no shortage of funds for development in the Manesar Municipal Corporation area.
On this occasion, Chief Minister’s Media Advisor Mr. Amit Arya, Adviser, Public Safety, Grievances and Good Governance and overall In-charge of CM Window, Mr. Anil Kumar Rao, MLA, Pataudi, Mr. Satya Prakash Jarawta MLA, Sohna, Mr. Sanjay Singh, MLA, Badshahpur, Mr. Rakesh Daulatabad, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Yash Garg, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Manesar, Mr. Manish Sharma, Commissioner of Police, K.K Rao and other dignitaries were present.
