Chandigarh March 8- Haryana Agriculture Minister, JP Dalal said that the State and Central government are committed towards the interests of farmers and are constantly working in that direction. The government’s aim is to double the income of farmers by 2022 and make the farmers financially capable and strong.
The Agriculture Minister said this to a delegation of farmers who came to meet him today at his residence to discuss their problems.
While discussing the demands made by the farmer delegation regarding the increase in sugarcane price and the increased electricity rates, he said that his doors are always open for farmers to discuss their problems. He said that their problems will be resolved.
He said that those who indulge in politics in the name of farmers are not interested in the welfare of the farmers. Therefore, the farmers must understand that it is the BJP government that is working for their good.
