Nikita Tomar Murder Case of Faridabad led to the arrest of the accused within 24 hours of the crime
Chandigarh, March 24- Haryana Home Minister, Anil Vij said that the SIT constituted for speedy investigation of the Nikita Tomar Murder Case of Faridabad, led to the arrest of the accused within 24 hours of the crime. Not just this, a 700-page challan was submitted in the court within 11 days of the crime, thereby setting a new record. Due to the efforts made by the police the orders have been pronounced in the case two days before completion of five months since the crime took place. He said that the State Government had earlier assured the family that they will get justice soon.
The Home Minister said that the accused had shot the victim Nikita on October 26, 2020, after which the accused were arrested by Haryana Police on October 27. The SIT that had been constituted to investigate the crime had acted immediately and the decision pronounced by the Fast Track Court will increase the faith of the people in judiciary. He said that those who break law will not be spared in the State.
