Dushyant  Chautala presided over meeting regarding High-Speed Rail Connectivity from Hisar Airport

Chandigarh, March 26: Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Dushyant  Chautala presided over a meeting regarding the dedicated High-Speed Rail Connectivity from Hisar Airport to ensure the travel time of 90 minutes between Hisar Airport to New Delhi. The rail connectivity to IGI Terminal-3 and Orbital Rail at Asaudah Station were suggested to HRIDC for necessary consideration as well.

Dushyant Chautala, who also holds the portfolio of Civil Aviation Department, was reviewing the on-going runway construction works under Phase-II development of Integrated Aviation Hub Hisar with officers of the Civil Aviation and Public Works (B&R) Departments.

The Deputy Chief Minister directed the officers of the Public Works (B&R) Department to finalize the alternative route for Barwala Road on priority. He said that to ensure the implementation of the project on fast track mode review meetings will be conducted at Hisar and Chandigarh once every month till completion of the construction phase.

He reviewed the Detailed Project Report by the Haryana Rail Infrastructure Corporation regarding the High-Speed Rail between Hisar and New Delhi as well. He said that when the High-speed rail is operational the travel time between Hisar Airport and New Delhi will be 90 minutes.

He directed Haryana Rail Infrastructure Corporation to ensure that the rail connectivity to IGI Terminal-3 and Orbital Rail at Asaudah Station should also be considered.
