Progressive farmers’ group from Leh visit Fish Farm Damsna
KARGIL, MARCH 26, 2021: Group of 40 progressive farmers from Leh who are presently on an exposure tour to Kargil district were taken to Fish Farm Damsna of the Department of Fisheries here today.
The farmers’ group which is on a 5 days exposure tour under Agriculture Technology Management Agency (ATMA) was flagged off from Chuchot Leh by the Secretary Animal and Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries Ladakh Ravinder Kumar on Thursday.
During the course of the tour, Assistant Director Fisheries Kargil Murtaza Ali enlightened the progressive farmers about various beneficiary oriented schemes being implemented under the Centrally Sponsored Schemes and the latest practices being adopted by the department for profitable and sustainable fish farming.
