2434 beneficiaries of 45-59 years receive 1st dose of COVID-19 vaccine jabs in Kargil
KARGIL, APRIL 03, 2021: After a major decision of the Union Cabinet to open the COVID-19 vaccination drive for everyone above the age of 45 years in the country staring from April 1, 2021, more than 2400 persons in Kargil have received the 1st dose COVID-19 vaccine jabs at vaccination session sites set up at different health centres across the district till Friday evening registering 15% vaccination coverage.
A total of 15,970 such beneficiaries in the district are being inoculated with the 1st dose of the vaccine while vaccination is underway today at 21 vaccination sites spread across the district at different health centres including the District Hospital Kargil, Community Health Center (CHC) Padum and Sankoo besides various Primary Health Centres and Medical Sub Centres at Shargole, Fokar, Tingdo, Tangole, Parkachik, Shakar, Lamochan, Gindiyal, Yulbu, Kanoor, Thasgam, Saliskote, Minji, Stikchay, Gonkha, Dak Bungalow Kargil, Kaksar and Latoo.
