Chandigarh, April 27 – Haryana Minister of State for Sports and Youth Affairs, Sardar Sandeep Singh said that timely completion of arrangements for ‘Khelo India Youth Games-2021’ to be held from November 21 to December 5, 2021 will be ensured.
Sardar Sandeep Singh was presiding over a meeting with senior officers of Union Government and State Government through video conferencing to review the preparations of Khelo India Youth Games-2021.
He said that Haryana Government will soon complete necessary arrangements for Khelo India Youth Games-2021. For organizing the games, repair and renovation work of multipurpose halls, grounds, tracks etc. is being done at a rapid pace. Proper arrangements of food and lodging are being arranged for players. He said that the preparations of Plan-2 and Plan-3 are also going on for organizing the games so that the performance of the players will not be affected during the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.
Director, Sports & Youth Affairs Department, Sh. S.S. Phulia, OSD, Khelo India Games, Sh. Pankaj Nain and other officers were present during the meeting.
