Chandigarh, April 30 – Haryana Health Minister, Sh. Anil Vij said that 112 oxygen concentrators are being sent to Haryana by the US-based U.S. India Foundation. While giving the information in this regard, Sh. Anil Vij said that he has spoken to the Union Minister of Aviation, Sh. Hardeep Puri in this regard to get these oxygen concentrators from America, for which he has given his consent to get these concentrators airlifted from America without any cost. He said that the Foundation has also assured to send other additional concentrators and ventilators to Haryana. The Health Minister said that the Central Government has recently increased the oxygen quota of Haryana from 70 MT to 232 MT. Along with this, additional tankers of oxygen are also being ordered by the Government from Odisha. This will support to increase the availability of oxygen in the hospitals of the State.
