KARGIL, MAY 01, 2021: In view of the recent upsurge in the number of COVID-19 cases in the country, Chairman District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) and District Magistrate (DM) Kargil Santosh Sukhadeve today issued an order for closure of Kargil Boys and Girls hostels at Srinagar and Jammu.
“Consequent upon the imposition of lockdown and suspension of classwork in the colleges/ universities of UT J&K, it is hereby ordered that the Kargil Boys/Girls Hostel, Jammu/Srinagar shall remain closed till further order”, the order reads.
