Chairperson, Himachal Pradesh State Red Cross Hospital Welfare Section Dr. Sadhna Thakur has appealed the people of the state especially the youth aged above 18 who are going to be administered Covid vaccination to come forward for blood donation. She said that the blood donation before vaccination would help in saving many precious human lives.
Dr. Sadhna Thakur said that in the current crises of Covid pandemic, vaccination was proving very effective. She said that vaccination of youth aged 18 would be rolled out soon and stocking blood before it would help in saving many lives in future.
She said the interested blood donators could contact the State Red Cross on telephone numbers 0177-2621868 and 2629969.
