Chandigarh, May 6:
In the most challenging times, working with the skeletal staff, the Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board (PSSSB) has declared the result of the exam conducted for the post of Food Safety Officers, informed Raman Bahl, Chairman PSSSB.
“We are committed to honour and support State government’s commitment to recruit youth to the posts lying vacant in various departments,”said he.
The result has been uploaded on PSSSB’s website punjabsssb.gov.in The process of recruitment would be completed soon by holding the counseling of the candidates as per their merit, as soon as travel restrictions are lifted and normalcy returns to the day to day affairs,said Raman.
The Chairman informed that a total of 5137 applicants had applied online for the 25 posts of Food Safety Officers while 3421 out of them took the exam on March 15, 2020.
Pertinently, first time ever in the history of the Board,elaborate vigilance measures were put in place for an entrance test.
Jammers, frisking, observers, invigilators ,flying squads and Triple biometric identification of candidates were amongst the surveillance measures adopted by the Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board, to ensure complete transparency in the conduct of exam.
