REASI, MAY 18, 2021: Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Charandeep Singh today conducted surprise inspection of Vaccination Centre here at Katra.
He was accompanied with Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Rajeev Kumar Sharma and other senior officers of the concerned department.
The Deputy Commissioner inquired about the vaccination drive and other health care related facilities.
He said that the vaccination is simultaneously going on at four different blocks for persons of 45 year and above.
He further said that 35 to 40 percent vaccination has been done at Mahore and more sites have been set up there to complete the vaccination in shortest possible time.
The Deputy Commissioner directed to mobilize all the frontline workers of different departments to scale up vaccination of leftout people.
While interacting with PRIs, Sarpanchs and Panchs, Charandeep Singh asked them to motivate and convince those people who had not been vaccinated yet.
Deputy Commissioner also appealed to the Citizens of District Reasi to take vaccination to make the District free from the Covid pandemic.
Later, DC Reasi Charandeep Singh visited a family at Nai Basti (Reasi) reportedly facing financial problem.
The Deputy Commissioner met the family and listened to their problems.
After listening to their genuine issues, the DC released financial assistance of Rs 20,000 in favour of Gudi Devi W/O late Kali R/O Agarjito Tehsil Katra A/P Nai Basti (Reasi).He further directed TSO to provide free ration at their door step.
