Keeping in view the surge of COVID cases in the district and to ensure the smooth functioning of Banking Services, Mrs. Sonali Giri, District Magistrate, Rupnagar has issued revised guidelines.
In an order issued by the District Magistrate Banks will be open from Monday to Friday with the staff strength of 50% at 10:00 AM and will deal with the public upto 2:00 PM. All the Banks will remain closed by all means at 2:00 PM for further public dealing. Closure of Branches by 4:00 PM. Saturday & Sunday will be fully closed. ATM Services will remain open 24 X 7 on all days. Security Guards / Care Takers deputed for these ATMs are exempted from curfew restrictions. Identity Card of Bank employees will be treated as Curfew Pass.
