M.P. gets 100 more oxygen concentrators

Medical Education Minister Vishvas Kailash Sarang was present at the drug store located at Malviya Bhawan, Tulsi Nagar on Wednesday at the time of receipt of 100 oxygen concentrators. These contractors obtained in collaboration with the World Health Organisation (W.H.O.) will be distributed in different districts of the state.
Minister Sarang informed that 4000 oxygen concentrators have been received through W.H.O. by different states. These concentrators will prove to be useful for the treatment of patients. He said that the government is constantly trying to prevent corona. The result of the same is that there has been a decrease in the positivity rate and increase in the recovery rate in the state. Due to the self-discipline of the people, the place of the state has come down as regards the figures of Corona. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also praised the efforts of social organisations and volunteer workers.
Minister Sarang said that the government is continuously making efforts for the treatment of Mucormycosis (Black Fungus). Free treatment has been arranged in five medical colleges. A task force has also been formed for the treatment of black fungus. A campaign is being carried out to identify the primary symptoms of Mucormycosis and provide treatment over the next 15 days. Talks are in progress with the E.N.T. Association and private sector about making the nasal endoscopy free of cost. A detailed framework is being prepared for its treatment with all deans and E.N.T. surgeons. Along with this, proper arrangements of medicines are also being made for its treatment.
Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Prabhakar Tiwari, WHO State Team Leader Dr. Abhishek Jain and Dr. Jatin Thakkar were present on the occasion.
