State has to be made corona free by May 31

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that corona infection is fast decreasing in the state. Now only 4 districts of the state Bhopal (13%), Indore (12%), Rewa (12%) and Ratlam (11%) have more than 10% weekly positivity rate. Now we have to make every effort to free the entire state from corona infection by May 31. We have to lift the corona curfew in a phased manner gradually in all the districts of the state from June 1 onwards.
Chief Minister Chouhan was reviewing the situation and arrangements of Corona in the state through video conferencing from his residence today. All in-charge ministers, in-charge officers and all concerned were present, including Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang.
3844 new cases
There are 3844 new cases of Corona in the state. The number of active patients is 62 thousand 53. In the last 24 hours, 9327 patients have recovered. Today’s positivity is 4.8% and weekly positivity rate is 7.3%. There are 36 thousand 684 weekly new cases.
Give medicines according to corona protocol
Chief Minister Chouhan directed during the review of Umaria district that antibiotic and other medicines should be given according to the corona protocol in the medical kits given to patients there. In areas where there are cases, infection can be eliminated by creating micro-containment zones.
Shahdol Medical College should have good arrangements
During the review of Shahdol district, Chief Minister Chouhan directed that the arrangements for medical colleges should be made better there. Information about patients should be given to their families through the help desk. All arrangements should be made for the patients in the hospital and the family should not be allowed inside under any circumstances.
Focus on coal mines
Chief Minister Chouhan gave directions during the review of Anuppur district that attention should be paid to prevent infection in coal mines there. 40 people have been infected in coal mines.
Two and a half lakh rupees returned to a patient from fracture hospital
In a total of 275 cases of overcharging by hospitals, an amount of Rs. 1 crore 5 lakh has been returned to the relatives of the patients. Two and a half lakhs more were taken from a patient by Bhopal’s Fracture Hospital. Taking action, this amount has been returned to the patient’s family. Chief Minister Chouhan said that this is a serious matter, action should be taken.
