RAMBAN, MAY 26, 2021: Chairperson, District Development Council, Ramban, Shamshad Shan today visited Gool and took stock of arrangements made by the Health Department to tackle surge in Covid positive cases in the Sub-division and patient care facilities in the local Community Health Centre (CHC).
While interacting with the medical staff, the Chairperson appreciated their role in Covid management, besides providing treatment to Covid patients who are in home isolation and admitted in the Covid care centres.
She also reviewed implementation of Covid SoPs and the health facilities being provided by the Health Department to patients and expressed her satisfaction over the arrangements made by the administration.
She also reviewed the stock position of medicines and medical oxygen cylinders and directed Block Medical Officer to ensure availability of oxygen for patients in adequate quantity. She also discussed the modalities for establishing a Medical Oxygen Plant in the CHC Gool.
The Chairperson also visited Covid Care Centre established in ITI Gool and reviewed progress on vaccination and testing. She directed officers of the Health Department to intensify the vaccination and Covid testing across the Sub-division.
Meanwhile, She also inspected progress of work on indoor stadium Gool besides listening to the issues of locals with regard to land compensation and assured early redress of the same.
