Updating on the orders issued by the Department of Health and Family Welfare Punjab, Deputy Commissioner Girish Dayalan informed that all Government and Private healthcare facilities in the district are permitted to restore the elective surgeries henceforth.
However, “it should be ensured that Level 3 capacity for COVID19 is not compromised”, said the Deputy Commissioner.
The decision has been taken in view of relatively lesser pressure on the healthcare facilities owing to the general decline in COVID 19 cases state wide.
