Secy Mehboob Ali’s three-day Changthang tour concludes

Ladakh,June 14  2021  Secretary, Labour, Culture, Employment and Tourism, Mehboob Ali Khan, completed his three-day tour to the Durbuk, Changthang and Rong area of Leh district. He visited Himya, Chumathang, Nyoma, Korzok, Hanley, Kuyul, Demchok, Tsaga, Chushul, Lukung, Phobrang, Spangmik, Maan-Merak and Tangtse, and met the councillors, BDC members, sarpanches/panches and nambardars to discuss various issues.Secy Mehboob Ali’s three-day Changthang tour concludes
During the meetings, the councillors, BDC members and sarpanches apprised Secretary Mehboob Ali Khan of various issues, including mobile connectivity in the entire Changthang area, especially the pending installation of Jio network in Demchok, wildlife, inner-line permit and other labour and tourism-related issues. Secretary Mehboob Ali Khan also visited monasteries on the way to promote tourism in the Changthang valley. He also discussed opening new trekking routes in the Changthang valley with the councillors, BDC members, sarpanches/panches and nambardars.
Assistant Director, Tourism, Jigmet Namgial and Assistant Labour Commissioner, Ghulam Nabi Tak, accompanied him during the tour.
