Chandigarh, June 15: Haryana Cabinet which met under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal here today approved amendment of the Haryana Public Service Commission (Conditions of Service) Regulations, 2018.
As per the amendment the number of members of the Haryana Public Service Commission has been reduced from the existing 8 to 5, in addition to the Chairman, by suitably amending Regulation 3 of the HPSC (Conditions of Service) Regulation, 2018.
After the amendment in the Haryana Public Service Commission (Conditions of Service) Regulation, 2018, in regulation 3, for the word “Eight”, the word “Five” shall be substituted.

Manohar Lal here today approved amendment of the Haryana Public Service Commission (Conditions of Service) Regulations, 2018. These rules may be called the Haryana Local Audit (Group-C) Service (Amendment) Rules, 2021.
As per the amendment made regarding qualifications in respect of the post of Steno-Typist, the condition of English shorthand at “64 words” per minute is replaced with “80 words”.
The said amendment has been made Keeping in view the ibid instructions issued by the Chief Secretary Haryana.
