Chandigarh, June 17:
Taking suo moto notice of the case of ousting of an elderly woman from home in Batala District , the Punjab State Women Commission has summoned sons and daughters of the victim on June 21, 2021 for a personal hearing.
Chairperson of Punjab State Women Commission Mrs. Manisha Gulati said that the matter had come to her notice through media reports.
In her orders, she also directed the Senior Superintendent of Police Batala to direct concerned Deputy Superintendent of police to ensure presence his presence along with Son and daughters of ousted mother present on hearing.
