In Continuation and partial modification of the previous orders dated 08.06.2021. Girish Dayalan, IAS, District Magistrate, in exercise of powers conferred under Section 144 of Cr. PC has hereby ordered the following with effect from 16.06.2021
Daily night Curfew shall be in place from 8 PM to 5 AM every day during which, movement for all non-essential activities shall be strictly prohibited except those covered under Exemptions.
Sunday curfew shall be in place from 8PM on Saturday up to 5AM on Monday during which movement for all non-essential activities shall be strictly prohibited except those specifically exempted.
All Shops can remain open between 5.00AM-7.00PM subject to the condition that COVID Monitors shall be appointed by Market Associations, Mall Managements, etc. and their names shall be prominently displayed. They shall be personally responsible for ensuring adherence to COVID Guidelines of Gol and GoP.
All Restaurants (including Hotels), Cafes, Coffee Shops, Fast Food outlets, Dhabas etc., Cinemas, Gyms, Museums shall be allowed to open at maximum 50% of capacity subject to all their employees having received at least one dose of vaccination.
Restaurants/Eateries can open for home delivery and take away till 9 PM-but no dine-in during curfew timings. The owners/management shall appoint COVID Monitors to ensure 100% vaccination and compliance of capacity restrictions. Both managements and customers shall be held liable for violations, if any.
Bars, Pubs and Ahatas shall remain closed.
A Maximum gathering of 50 persons is allowed including for weddings/Cremations. Social, political, and religious gatherings shall continue to be prohibited.
Non-AC Buses shall be allowed to operate to capacity but while ensuring that no person is standing. AC Buses shall be allowed to operate at maximum 50% capacity. These orders shall not apply to Containment Areas already declared earlier, and any others declared from time to time – where a strict perimeter control shall be enforced and movement of persons shall be prohibited, except for essential services.
Any violation shall invite criminal proceedings under the relevant provisions of the Disaster Management Act 2005 and Indian Penal Code 1860.
