Chandigarh,19 June,2021- Haryana Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan conducted a virtual State Level Seminar regarding the successful organization of International Yoga Day on June 21, 2021.

About 100 Deputy Directors, Youth Officers and selected National Volunteers from various districts of the state have participated in this programme.

The State Level Yoga Seminar was inaugurated by Advisor to Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Yogender Chaudhry. While speaking at the seminar, he said that yoga is the basic necessity of leading a healthy life. He said that yoga can help develop our immunity to fight against diseases. The importance of yoga has been increased during COVID-19 pandemic.

Presiding over the event, Chairman, Haryana Yoga Commission, Dr. Jaideep Arya, said that Yoga teaches you how to lead a good and healthy life irrespective of the circumstances.

While honouring the chief guests at the programme, Director of Haryana Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, Dr. Arjun Kumar Verma said that Yoga is an invaluable gift of ancient Indian tradition and culture. He informed that 88500 families of Haryana will be joining the event of International Yoga Day on June 21, 2021 through 295 National Youth Volunteers and 4425 Youth Clubs in 22 districts of the state, he added.  On this occasion, Yoga tips were also given by former Air Force Officer, Sh. Rakesh Mehta, and Motivation Speaker and Yoga Instructor, Ms. Ekta.
