Delta Plus variant of Corona will be detected by Genome Testing – Health Minister
Chandigarh, June 30– Haryana Health Minister, Sh. Anil Vij said that so far only one case of the new variant of Corona ‘Delta Plus’ has been reported in the state and orders for 100 per cent contact tracing have been issued. Apart from this, orders have also been given to set up a Genome Test Lab at PGI Rohtak.
He said that the genome tests of all the RTPCR tests are also being done. He said there is a Genome Testing Lab in Delhi itself, where there is huge rush. Therefore, now he has ordered to set up a lab for Genome Testing at PGI Rohtak. He elaborated that if Genome Testing is done, it becomes clear whether the patient is infected with delta plus variant or not.
