Chandigarh, July 7- In order to inform the general public about services which are notified under the Right to Service Act and for which the time-limit has been prescribed and is being provided by various departments of the Haryana Government, should be displayed locally by the Secretary. It will also be mandatory to list these services on the websites of the respective departments.
Secretary, Haryana Right to Service Commission, Smt. Meenaxee Raj informed that with the approval of the Chief Commissioner of the Commission, a letter has been sent to various departments in which they have been asked to clearly define the notified services, their timelines, application forms and documents required for availing the services and to put all kinds of information related to the notified services on their website. They will also have to send a copy of the same in MS-Word format to the Commission’s website [email protected] by July, 31, 2021, which will be displayed by the Commission on its website. Failure to display such information in the public domain will enable the Second Grievance Redressal Authority or the Commission to take appropriate action against the designated officer.
The Chief Commissioner informed that all the notified services along with their time-limit would be displayed outside the offices of the designated officers of the concerned department in the format given by the Commission and the same would also have to be confirmed by July 31.
