The new bus stand constructed by the Public Works (Building and Roads) Department in Jind would be started in the next 30 days

Chandigarh, August 23 2021 Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Dushyant Chautala informed that the new bus stand constructed by the Public Works (Building and Roads) Department in Jind would be started in the next 30 days. He expressed hope that soon drinking water connection will be added at this bus stand. He said that a service lane would be constructed along with the new bus stand so that the buses would not face any problem in entry and exit.
While responding to a question raised in the Vidhan Sabha session today the Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Dushyant Chautala said that a bus stand has been constructed on the national highway, so it is necessary to construct a service lane along the national highway for entry and exit from the bus stand. He said that an estimate of the cost of the said service lane of Rs. 929.12 lakh has been sent by the Executive Engineer of the Provincial Division of the Public Works Department, but till now this amount has not been deposited by the General Manager of the Transport Department, Jind. The service lane will be constructed soon after depositing the cost amount. He said that for the arrangement of drinking water in the new bus stand, the Transport Department has to deposit the cost amount to the Public Health Department.
Sh. Dushyant Chautala assured that the bus stand would be handed over to the Transport Department after completing the work at the earliest after depositing the cost amount by both the above departments.
