A meeting of Punjab Youth Development Board was held under the chairmanship of Chairman Sukhwinder Singh Bindra. During the meeting the problems faced by the youth of the state were discussed in length and breadth.
Presiding over the meeting, Chairman Sukhwinder Singh Bindra said that Punjab Youth Development Board is fully committed for the welfare and development of the youth and the main objective of the board is to convey and guide the youth related schemes and schemes/programs launched by the government to them. In this regard, the Board has issued instructions to the Department of Employment Generation and Training Punjab to organize as many job fairs as possible to provide jobs to more and more youth. Chairman Bindra said that purpose of this meeting is to make the Punjab Youth Development Board in coordination with other concerned departments to make the youth aware about the schemes being run by the government so that they could get employment or self-employment and stay away from drugs.
In this Meeting Senior Vice Chairman Prince Pal Khullar, Vice Chairman Vikram Kamboj, Member Poonam Thakur, Member Jaswinder Singh Dhunna, Member Lakhvir Singh, Member Nirmal Singh Dullat, Member Akashdeep Singh Lali and Member Dr. Amit Sharma, Director Sports and Youth Services Punjab Davinder Pal Singh Kharbanda, Deputy Director Youth Services Dr. Kamaljit Singh Sidhu, Assistant Director Head Office Punjab Rupinder Kaur and Senior Representatives of Employment Generation and Training Department, Punjab were present.
