As per the directions of DC/CEO, LAHDC, Kargil, Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Kargil, Padma Angmo today visited the Aspirational Block Karsha to review the progress of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) formed under the Ladakh Rural Livelihoods Mission (LRLM).
During her visit, ACD Kargil interacted with SHG members and took stock of SHG formation, Revolving Fund (RF) disbursement, and Lokos status in the Karsha block.
The LRLM Karsha SHG Didis shared their experiences of participating in the recently concluded 1st SARAS Mela at Leh, showcasing their work and livelihood activities.
ACD Kargil assured the SHG members of all possible support under LRLM, expressing satisfaction and happiness with the initiative’s progress in Karsha till date.
During the visit, she was accompanied by Block Development Officer (BDO), District Project Manager (DPM), Aspirational Fellow, and Panchayat Secretary. The visit reinforced the administration’s commitment to empower rural women and strengthen livelihoods in aspirational districts.
