ACS reviews progress of SVAMITVA Scheme in Haryana

Chandigarh September 13: Additional Chief Secretary and Financial Commissioner, Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Sh. Sanjeev Kaushal today reviewed SVAMITVA Scheme with concerned Deputy Commissioners of the state through video conferencing and directed that the target should be completed within the stipulated time period.

He directed that in order to complete the work of registration of deeds at the earliest, the target of each day should be assigned to the concerned Gram Sachiv and Patwari and the Nodal Officer will review it. If there is any laxity in the work, then action will be initiated against the concerned employee, he added.

The Financial Commissioner said that in this flagship scheme of the Government, revolutionary steps are being taken to make all the villages and parts of the city free from Lal Dora. He said that at any cost, the work of SVAMITVA Scheme should be completed in the month of September. He directed that results and necessary outcomes are required on priority basis.

During the video conferencing, he also sought the district wise report of registration of deeds. So far 2.23 lakh property cards have been issued and 2668 villages have been made Lal Dora free.
