In connection with celebration of forthcoming Republic-Day-2024, a meeting was held under the Chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kargil Ghulam Mohiudin Wani today at his office chamber.
At the outset, the ADC took department wise review about the arrangements to be put in place by the respective departments.
The ADC directed the officers of the concerned departments to ensure all preparations including seating arrangement, march past, parade, Cultural programmes, transport & parking facilities, power & water supply, deployment of sanitation staff, medical/first aid & fire and emergency teams, installation of PA System, besides Illumination of government buildings on Republic Day.
He stressed on making full-proof security arrangements in and around the Khree Sultan Cho Sports Stadium to ensure hassle-free celebrations of the function. He also enjoined upon concerned officers to maintain close coordination with each other for smooth conduct of the event.
The concerned officials were asked to ensure washroom facilities besides establish mobile toilets at the venue on January 26.
The ADC asked the Education Department and LAACL Kargil to ensure all necessary arrangements for boarding/lodging of participating school children and artists are taken care well in advance with concerned, while transport arrangements will be made by SRTC.
Superintending Engineer, PW (R&B) Circle, Kargil, Superintending Engineer, PHE/I&FC Circle, Kargil, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Assistant Commissioner, Development, Deputy SP Headquarter, Programme Officer ICDS, CMO, DFO, Executive Officer MC, AD Information, Deputy Registrar Cooperative, AD Tourism, GM DIC, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, DSHO, beside other concerned officers attended the meeting.
