Paddy procurement guidelines given to officials

Haryana Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister, Sh. J.P. Dalal said that farmers will not have to face any problem during paddy procurement process and directed the concerned officials to make proper arrangements in the market so as to provide all necessary facilities to the farmers.
He said this while taking stock of preparations for paddy procurement at new grain market in Kaithal. He directed the administrative officers of the district to conduct inspection from time to time during the paddy procurement process in the grain market. He said that the concerned officials should make proper cleanliness arrangements in the grain market.
Sh. Dalal also gave necessary guidelines to the officials to undertake paddy procurement process in a systematic manner. He said that canteen, clean drinking water facilities, toilets, electricity supply and all adequate facilities should be provided to the farmers so that they do not face any problem during paddy procurement in the grain markets. All concerned officers should take the responsibility of the assigned tasks, he added.
The Agriculture Minister said that it should also be ensured that the procurement agencies are conducting paddy procurement on time and there is no delay in paddy lifting. He also directed to make proper arrangement of lighting in the grain markets.
