Chandigarh based academician & author, Dr. Amneet Gill who teaches History in Panjab University, Chandigarh participated in webinars organized by UNESCO, Paris to commemorate world teachers’ day. UNESCO emphasized that achieving the Education 2030 agenda requires teachers who are well qualified, trained, fairly compensated and motivated. The webinars emphasized on embracing collaborative, multi stakeholder approach and engaging education policy makers to transform and push forward reforms on teacher development to create an education ecosystem that empowers teachers.
