Anti-Terrorism Day observed at DC Office Kishtwar

KISHTWAR, MAY 21, 2021: To wean away the youth from terrorism and the cult of violence by highlighting the suffering of common people and showing how it is prejudicial to the national interest, besides to promote national harmony and unity among people of all caste, creed, and gender, the Anti -Terrorism Day was marked by holding a pledge ceremony, here at DC office Kishtwar.
The pledge was administered by Deputy Commissioner, Ashok Sharma, to the senior officials and staff of DC Office Kishtwar with due observance of COVID19 protocol.
The participants reaffirmed their ‘faith in country’s tradition of non-violence and tolerance,’ and solemnly affirmed to oppose all forms of terrorism and violence. They pledged to uphold and promote peace, social harmony, and understanding among all fellow human beings and fight the forces of disruption threatening human lives and values.
