RAMBAN, MAY 21, 2021: To mark the National Anti-Terrorism Day 2021, the District Administration, Ramban organized pledge taking events in Government offices across the district amid strict Covid protocols.
The Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Isalm administered the pledge to the participants in the District Administrative Complex which includes President Municipal Council, Ramban, Sunita Kumari, DDC Member, Bashir Ahmed Naik, ADC, Harbans Lal, ACR Dhirender Sharma, other senior officers and staff members of DC office.
The DC said that the objective behind observing Anti-Terrorism Day is to spread the message of peace, humanity, unity, and harmony among the people, and to make them aware of the anti-social acts of terrorism. Terrorism in all its forms and manifestations poses a direct threat to the security of the citizens of countries and ‘we should fight together to eradicate terrorism from the country,’ he added.
Similar pledge taking events were also held besides in the offices of district and sectoral officers and in their subordinate offices.
