INCOME OF ELIGIBLE FAMILIES WILL BE INCREASED UNDER THE SCHEME

The Chief Minister Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Yojana of the State Government will prove to be a milestone in raising the living standards of poor families. For this, Antyodaya Gramodaya Melas are being organized by the Government in all the districts of the State till December 25, 2021.

An official spokesperson said that in the first phase of these fairs, this scheme has been implemented with the objective of increasing the income of the families whose annual income is less than Rs. 1 Lakh so that the life of such families can be improved. Such families have been identified and invited to the fair through information. For organizing such fairs 17 departments have been identified which run schemes for the upliftment and social development of the poor. Similarly, there are about 20 banks, which give loans for self-employment.

He informed that stalls of all such departments and banks have been set up in Antyodaya Mela. Registration of people coming to the Mela is already completed. After that, they are sent to the counter for counselling, where the officers and employees will give detailed information regarding the employment schemes according to their interest. After evaluating their interest volunteers will take them to the respective counter. Through these fairs, efforts are being made to provide a means to increase family income of the eligible families according to their interest.
The spokesperson said that Antyodaya Rozgar Mela is being organized across the State.

The footfall trend of people is continuously increasing in such fairs and positive outcomes are also coming out. He informed that these fairs are being organized in all municipal corporations, municipal areas and rural blocks.

Feedback is being taken from eligible people by inspecting 11 counters in the fair

The concerned Deputy Commissioner and the Administrative Officers posted at the State Level are inspecting the 11 counters being set up in Antyodaya Melas one by one. In addition to the members of the eligible families present at various stalls, talking to the officers and employees sitting at the stalls, taking information about the schemes and getting feedback from them, how many people have come to their counter so far and in which work or scheme they have shown interest.
