Haryana Government has invited applications from Haryana State Council for Child Welfare, Chandigarh and District Child Welfare Councils for National Bravery Award to Children- 2021 till October 15, 2021. Indian Council for Child Welfare (ICCW), New Delhi will present National Bravery Award to Children- 2021.

Giving information in this regard today, an official spokesperson said that the children who have preformed exemplary act of courage and bravery, to rescue someone’s life by risking own life during the period July 1, 2020 to September 30, 2021 attaining an age of 6 to 18 years during the day of incident will be eligible to apply. The format of the application form can be obtained from www.iccw.co.in website.
He said that a medal (gold or silver), certificate and cash award would be given to the awardee. Rs. One Lakh will be given for ICCW Bharat Award. Rs. 75,000 will be given for ICCW Dhruva Award, Markandaya Award, Shravan Award, Prahlad Award, Eklavya Award, Abhimanyu Award and Rs 40,000 will be given for General Award.
The spokesperson said that the concerned District Child Welfare Council office can also be contacted during any working day for application form and other enquiries.
