EC Zanskar Affairs expresses gratitude
KARGIL, JUNE 16, 2021: In order to redress the issues being faced by the vehicle owners of Zanskar Sub Division as they were not able to attend the ARTO Office Kargil in due time to complete the necessary documents due to the closure of Zanskar National Highway for winters, ARTO Office Kargil led by the Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Kargil Khadim Hussain started a 3 day camp at Zanskar here today.
During the course of the camp, all the transport related documents shall be updated/ issued after completion of the necessary formalities besides the conduct of test for driving license, renewal of driving license, fresh registration of vehicles and other allied services subject to availability of internet service.
Meanwhile, the Executive Councillor Zanskar Affairs Er Punchok Tashi has extended gratitude to the team of ARTO Kargil for holding the camp at Zanskar. He has also directed them to organize similar camps in future as well keeping in view the limited connectivity of the sub division to the district headquarters especially during the winter season due to which people are not able to reach Kargil for renewal of documents and other related works.
The EC has also urged the general masses of Zanskar to take maximum benefit of the services of ARTO camp.
