At present there are about 42,000 active COVID-19 cases in the State: Anil Vij
Chandigarh, April 20- Haryana Health Minister, Anil Vij said that at present there are about 42,000 active COVID-19 cases in the State, out of which about 30,000 are in Home Isolation and 12,000 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals where all patients are getting treated with special care.
Anil Vij said that the Health and AYUSH Department is taking complete care of the patients who are in Home Isolation. For ensuring their fine health, Covid-Kits are being provided in which necessary medicines for the corona treatment, pulse oximeters, corona prevention literature and other necessary materials are included. Doctor’s teams are visiting door-to-door once in two days to examine and treat corona patients.
The Health Minister said that the Government is working tirelessly for containing the spread and treating the corona patients. The health department has been instructed to focus on both simultaneously. Special care is being taken in the districts where active corona patients are more in number.
