Awareness cum vaccination drive held at Qamaria ground, Gbl

Awareness cum vaccination drive was today organized at Qamaria ground, Ganderbal in which various youth and sports lovers participated.

During the drive, the CMO and Dy CMO Ganderbal made awareness about Covid vaccination and said that rumours about infertility caused due to Covid vaccination is baseless and urged youth to get vaccinated at an earliest which is only defensive mechanism against the deadly virus.

District immunization officer also spoke on the occasion and made participants aware about the importance of vaccination. He said all 94 vaccination sites established in district are active and appealed people to visit on any site of their choice to get vaccinated.

Meanwhile, President Cricket Association Ganderbal, Saim Mustafa complemented the Health Department for holding awareness cum vaccination drive here and also appealed to the youth of 18-44 years of age to get vaccinated and reiterated that vaccination is 100 percent safe and rumours regarding the vaccine are baseless.
