Ayush Colleges of the State should develop like Pt. Khushi Lal Sharma Autonomous Ayurveda College

Minister of State for AYUSH (Independent Charge) Shri Ramkishore Kavre has instructed the principals of all AYUSH colleges in the state that the development of the colleges should be done on the lines of Pt. Khushi Lal Sharma Government Autonomous Ayurveda College. He also directed the principals to take immediate action on pending proposals. Minister of State Shri Kavre was addressing the meeting virtually at Mantralaya today. Principal Secretary AYUSH Smt. Caralyn Khongwar Deshmukh was also present in the meeting.
The preparations made keeping in mind the upcoming assembly session were also reviewed in the meeting. Minister of State Shri Kavre instructed the principals of the college to do effective work by paying special attention to sickle cell disease. He said that the Health and AYUSH Department of Madhya Pradesh is working together on the Gujarat model for the treatment of this disease. Minister of State Shri Kavre informed that the online counselling programme of BAMS, BHMS and BUMS in the state is being done as per the scheduled time-table. Record verification will be done by February 10. The entire process of counselling will be completed by March 1. He asked to pay special attention to the counselling work. So far 3 thousand 900 students have registered for counselling in the state. Minister of State Shri Kavre said that the process of recruitment to the vacant posts in AYUSH colleges is being done expeditiously. Principal Secretary AYUSH Smt. Caralyn Khongwar asked the principals to prepare a comprehensive action plan for the development of the colleges and send it to Bhopal, on which work would be done effectively. He informed about the efforts being made for PG courses in AYUSH colleges.
