Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav

Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav

June 28

Under the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’, the thoughts of revolutionaries, patriots and great men who made their important contribution in the Indian freedom struggle should reach the youth through literature. This will inculcate nationalism and love for the country in them. This was stated by the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Spirituality Sushri Usha Thakur while reviewing the activities of Marathi, Sindhi, Bhojpuri Sahitya and Urdu Academy in Mantralaya. Sushri Thakur said that cultural activities and programs should be held not only in huge cities but in all districts and towns of the state. Along with upgrading the literature of Marathi, Sindhi, Bhojpuri and Urdu, translate them into Hindi language as well. This will bridge the conceptual gap between languages.
