Captain Amarinder Singh-led Congress government, a government of illegal liquor mafia started by Badals
If Captain would have dealt with Tarn Taran liquor case or spurious liquor factories in Rajpura and Banur; there would be crackdown on drug smugglers

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA and Youth Wing president Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer said that the spurious liquor factory busted at village Badal, the native of Shiromani Akali Dal’s Patron Parkash Singh Badal, president of Shiromani Akali Dal, Sukhbir Singh Badal and Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal has made it clear that even in the rule of Captain Amarinder Singh, drug trade was going on from the house of Badals. In a statement issued from the party headquarters here on Sunday, Meet Hayer said that Captain Amarinder Singh had promised the people of Punjab by swearing in Sri Gutka Sahib that the drug mafia would be eradicated within four weeks of formation of the Congress party government; but after more than four years, Captain had not been able to eradicate drugs from the state.
Taking a dig at Captain Amarinder Singh, Hayer alleged that Captain had not been able to eradicate drugs from the Malwa itself, as exemplified by the village of Manpreet Singh Badal, a colleague of the Chief Minister and Finance Minister, from where a large illegal liquor factory was busted. He said that the illicit liquor factory operating from the house of the Badals could have caused an unfortunate accident in the Malwa including the village of Badal, if this liquor factory had not been busted. “The Captain Amarinder Singh-led Congress government in Punjab was in fact a government of spurious liquor traders started by the Badals,” he added. Hayer said that the liquor traders were the ministers, MLAs and chairpersons of district planning committees in the Captain government.
The AAP leader said that from Amritsar to Rajpura, many illegal liquor factories had been set up all over Punjab and thousands of people had died in the state after consuming substandard liquor from these factories. Hayer said that the Punjab Police and Excise Department did not take any further action against the illicit liquor dealers, after registering FIRs. He alleged that Captain Amarinder Singh and the Congress party did not care about the deaths due to illicit liquor as those who died were members of ordinary families. “The Congress ministers and leaders are working at every low level due to greed for money,” he added.
Hayer said that after the deaths due to spurious liquor in Majha area, Captain Amarinder Singh had given big statements in the newspapers that he would take stern action against the culprits; but he did nothing but kneel before the liquor mafia. He questioned whether the Congress government would take any major action after a large liquor plant being set up illegally in the Badal village of state Finance Minister and Former Chief Minister was exposed. Hayer demanded that an inquiry should be held by the present judge of Punjab and Haryana High Court into the busting of an illicit liquor factory in Badal village so that the partnership of the traders with the politicians could be exposed.
