Banks should boost entrepreneurship and skill development at village level 

CM Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that banks should cooperate in promoting entrepreneurship, skill development and activities of self-help groups at the village level. CM Shri Chouhan said this during his meeting with Smt. Smita Bhagat, Group Head of HDFC Bank and other officials in Mantralaya. HDFC Group Head Smt. Bhagat informed that camps will be held by the bank at the urban body level for the convenience of beneficiaries under the street vendor scheme implemented in the state. There is also a plan to provide Rs 400 crore to self-help groups of more than 4 thousand villages of the state. Along with setting up of smart classes in 100 schools of the state, 10 bedded ICUs will also be set up in district hospitals. Each ICU will be of Rs 30 lakh.
