People of Dhuri welcome Mann warmly and affectionately

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab Chief Ministerial candidate and Member of Parliament Bhagwant Mann today paid his first visit to various villages of his constituency Dhuri. During his visit, Bhagwant Mann claimed, “On March 10, the country’s media will announce the mendate issued by the people of Punjab in favor of the Aam Aadmi Party. The Aam Aadmi Party will get an overwhelming majority in the Punjab Assembly elections this time as the people of Punjab, tired of the corrupt ruling parties, are all set to vote in favor of the Aam Aadmi Party on February 20.”

On Sunday, Bhagwant Mann came to Dhuri Assembly constituency for the first time after AAP’s ticket announcement and started his election campaign from Nankiana Chowk in Sangrur city, where a large number of Mann’s supporters joined him. His supporters showed their enthusiasm through very loud roars of Bhagwant Mann and Aam Aadmi Party Zindabad. From Nankiana Chowk, Mann’s caravan passed through various villages Ladda, Kanjhla, Hasanpur, Mulewal, Kakarwal, Ranike and Bhugran, where people kept on joining him and making his caravan bigger. During this Bhagwant Mann was warmly welcomed by the villagers on the roads and flowers were showered on him. Despite the rain and freezing cold, Mann’s supporters showed great enthusiasm and were gathered to express their happiness.
Bhagwant Mann received special enthusiasm and bleesings from the elder women of his constituency who wished his success and victory. An elderly mother while giving his blessings to Mann saids, “Son, get Punjab rid of drugs like cocaine. We cannot bear the pain of our sons who are dying every day.” Bhagwant Mann assured the mother that soon after the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) takes over the reins of Punjab, drug traffickers as well as all kinds of mafia will be eliminated. Sufficient employment opportunities will be provided for the unemployed youth. Young people will be empowered and given opportunities to become employment providers.
Speaking about Dhuri constituency, Bhagwant Mann said, “Dhuri is his home. Many of my relatives live here. The people of Dhuri had given me a lead of 30,000 votes and helped me win 2014 and 2019 Lok Sabha elections.” He again challenged Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi to contest from Dhuri. Bhagwant Mann was accompanied by a large number of Aam Aadmi Party leaders, workers and supporters.
