Senior Congress leader and National Bhau Bhaichara President Balwinder Singh Saifdipur joins SAD along with supporters in presence of Sukhbir Singh Badal
Leave aside Punjab, Amarinder will be a big zero in his own home district : Prof. Chandumajra
Chandigarh, August 4 2021 Congress party suffered a huge set back in home district of Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh when his close associate, senior Congress leader and President of Bhau Bhaichara Balwinder Singh Saifdipur joined Akali Dal in presence of party President Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal at party head office here today.
Mr. Badal welcomed Mr. Saifdipur and his supporters in party fold and assured them of full dignity and respect in party and also announced that they will be given big responsibility in the party in the time to come.
It is worth mentioning here that this is fifth time when senior Congress leaders were joining Akali Dal with efforts of Chandumajra family after they took responsibility in Ghanour and Sanour Assembly segments.
It is worth mentioning here that Saifdipur was a close confident of Capt. Amarinder Singh but was forced to leave Congress due to its wrong and anti people policies. He was thrilled to join SAD in presence of SAD leadership and assured to work for welfare of people.
Mr. Badal also lauded Saifdipur for his social welfare activities.
On the occasion former MP and senior party leader Prof. Chandumajra also lauded efforts of Saifdipur for serving poor and downtrodden. He also said that circumstances in Congress party and situation in the state were forcing people to join Akali Dal keeping in view its pro people and pro poor agenda.
Harinderpal Singh Chandumajra MLA also spoke on the occasion.
Apart from Saifdipur, Mehra Community President Sucha Singh, Punjabi University A Class Officer association President Gurinderpal Singh Bubby, Bhupinder Singh Sekhupura, Jang Singh Rurka and Master Davinder Singh Tehalpur also joined Akali Dal today.
