BJP discusses strategy ahead of J&K Budget session

BJP held a crucial strategic meeting of its MLAs and organizational District’s Presidents hailing from the administrative district Jammu at Jammu.

Sat Sharma CA, President, J&K BJP chaired the meeting, scheduled ahead of Budget session of Jammu & Kashmir.

Sunil Sharma, Leader of Opposition, Ashok Koul, General Secretary (organization), J&K BJP, Dr. Narinder Singh, BJP National Secretary & MLA, MLAs Sham Lal Sharma, Yudhvir Sethi, Arvind Gupta, Surinder Bhagat, Gharu Ram Bhagat, Mohan Lal Bhagat, & Rajeev Bhagat and organizational District Presidents Nand Kishore Sharma, Adv. Rajesh Gupta, Naresh Singh Jasrotia, Rajeev Pandita, Kuldeep Sharma, & Rinku Choudhary participated in the meeting.

Sat Sharma, in his address, asked the party MLAs to aggressively expose the government for its failure on all fronts to fulfill promises made in its election manifesto. He said that the present dispensation has failed miserably to live up to the expectations of the common people. He prompted the party MLAs to form an elaborative list of all the issues being faced by the people of Jammu & Kashmir. He said that our MLAs must give representation to every section and every community in their list of issues and should forcefully put their issues. Discussing key issues in depth, he asked them to coordinate their efforts to strengthen the party’s presence in the region.

Sunil Sharma said that the Budget is being presented in J&K after a gap of seven years. He stressed that the party MLAs will forcefully put the public interests in this session, while safeguarding the rights of all the sections of the society. He specifically said that the government would not be allowed to compromise the interests of the people. He lamented that the present working of the NC government is proving its tilt towards a particular region while ignoring the interests of other region and vowed to counter any such measure by the government in the Budgetary allocations.

Ashok Koul asked the party MLAs to present the issues of the unrepresented people, particularly those who were neglected in the previous governments. He asked them to ensure that the maximum administrative works of the masses are done without any neglect of any section of society.
