Bronze medal to Madhya Pradesh Pavilion in India International Fair

Madhya Pradesh’s pavilion got a bronze medal on Saturday at the India International Trade Fair at Pragati Maidan in Delhi. The fair was organized by the India Trade Promotion Organization on the theme ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’. Union Minister of Minority Affairs Shri Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi presented the medal to the state. On behalf of the state government, Deputy Chief General Manager of Small Industries Corporation Shri BN Tiwari and in-charge of Electronics Development Corporation, IT Park Shri Ajay Malik received the medal.

Inspired by the great vision of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the event was held from 14th to 27th November, 2021 at the newly constructed Hall of International Exhibition Convention Center (IECC) and the present Hall of Pragati Maidan, as a part of the 75th year of India’s Independence ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’.

In this fair, the Madhya Pradesh Pavilion was also displayed under the theme ‘Self-reliant Madhya Pradesh’. The visitors who reached the pavilion got an opportunity to clearly experience the vision of Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan of ‘Self-reliant Madhya Pradesh’. Visitors remembered their experiences at the pavilion by posting selfies on their Facebook pages.

In Madhya Pradesh’s pavilion, the visitors also got an opportunity to know how Madhya Pradesh is progressing in various fields to become self-reliant. These included topics such as physical infrastructure, good governance, health and education, economy, employment, tourism, arts and crafts, women’s empowerment, skill development, MSME, smart city, agriculture-sector and horticulture. Apart from this, there is also a ‘Shaurya Smarak’ of Bhopal as part of the Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi, which is a tribute to the freedom fighters of Madhya Pradesh. The visitors also got a taste of the food, culture, music and heritage of the state for which Madhya Pradesh is famous.

In the MP Pavilion, the past is also combined with the great potential of the future. The pavilion was also presenting the picture of how Madhya Pradesh will be transformed by the Mega Skill Development Park being set up in Bhopal in collaboration with technology and ITEES, Singapore. Major products of all the districts of Madhya Pradesh were presented in the pavilion under ‘One District-One Product’. Kodo-Kutki processed food prepared by women self-help groups were presented. The visitors also got an opportunity to interact with the nationally renowned Padma Shri awardee Bhuri Devi for Gond art. Overall it was an unforgettable memory for the visito
